VHB is seeking an IT Services Specialist to join our Corporate Information Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly interested in technology as a career, highly organized with ability to learn on the job. About the Position

This position will sit in any of our two offices (Orlando and Atlanta) primarily supporting the southeastern regional offices, as well as other VHB offices through remote support. Eventually, this position will require travel between offices on a bi-monthly basis. The successful candidate will also be engaged in helping classify and complete tier 1 support, as well as distribute and manage tickets across the rest of the IT Services team.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to pursue a technology career path. You don’t need to know it all, but you certainly need to have a passion for technology and an appetite to learn various technologies.  


  • Proactively assisting VHB employee’s with the use of technology
  • Ad hoc training associated to new commercial or custom applications
  • Troubleshoot computer issues
  • Able to identify trends in incoming helpdesk tickets
  • Evenly distribute tickets throughout the team based on priority and workload
  • Configure and deploy PCs to staff
  • Support production and administrative staff with PC/software issues
  • Assist in the support of local servers and network
  • Requires approximately 30% travel to other VHB offices (when we return to the offices)
  • Assist other IT staff with engaging projects

  • 0-2 years of experience in Information Technology or Engineering fields with strong PC knowledge and interest in technology
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016/O365
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Reliable transportation is a necessity
