About the Position

As an intern and member of VHB’s in-house team of Creative Design Specialists (Graphic Designers), you will think critically and strategically to create clear, compelling visual communications. We work alongside our team of marketers, engineers, planners, environmentalists, and other technical professionals, to help deliver a wide variety of projects that enhance our communities and the world around us.

About You

• You have computer skills/experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• You are a team player who can manage multiple projects/priorities/deadlines
• You must have the ability to travel to VHB offices
• You just can’t get enough color, typography, grids, and paragraph styles!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VHBers on proposals, presentations, social media graphics, and various other technical documents
• Contribute to ongoing photography efforts, including new employee headshots and requested project imagery for use in marketing collateral
• Help build and maintain digital asset file directories
• Perform quality control on outgoing client deliverables
• Maintain assigned workload and provide regular updates on status of ongoing work

Skills and Attributes

• Technical Skills
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of print production
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects is a plus

Qualifications

• College student pursuing a degree in graphic/digital design, advertising, or marketing
