Paralegal – Ideally located in our Watertown, Boston MA or Providence RI offices.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents with the ability to identify contractual risk issues and propose appropriate risk management solutions in accordance with company policies
• Identify, understand, and interpret contractual insurance and indemnification requirements
• Administer and maintain library of standard clauses for amending contracts
• Assist in drafting/amending contracts
• Research legal issues
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders 

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Works effectively and independently in high-pressure team environment to manage multiple tasks in parallel to meet all deadlines
• Commitment to documentation and using technology to improve processes
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to think critically and problem solve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/legal studies or similar
• Paralegal Certification
• 5+ years of experience as contract administrator or paralegal (preferably in an Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction environment)
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
