ABOUT THE POSITION VHB’s Watertown, Massachusetts office is seeking a temporary on-call Geomatics Equipment Operators to join our team. ABOUT THE POSITION Regional Healthcare Sector Leader VHB has an immediate need for a Regional Healthcare Sector Leader to help expand our growing institutional practice in the Mid-Atlantic region (DC Metro, Virginia/North Carolina). The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in healthcare capital project design/permitting and/or healthcare campus planning and design with existing relationships and contacts at the decision-making level within the region. In addition to aiding in the development of a market growth strategy, the Healthcare Sector Leader will be responsible for managing key client relationships, coordinating project teams, and overseeing healthcare and other key institutional projects in the region. The position requires a proven ability to develop business, establish meaningful client relationships, manage projects, and coach and mentor staff. Responsibilities - Conducts market research and analysis and collaborates with the Regional Market Leader and regional leadership team to set a vision and strategy for the healthcare sector within the region - Proactively leads the strategy and actions necessary to further build and grow a dynamic team of institutional focused industry professionals that includes civil engineers, structural engineers, transportation planners and designers, environmental permitting specialists, geomatics specialists, and technologists - Generates new business development opportunities and strategizes, leads, and delivers winning technical proposals - Sets the strategic direction and drives tactical initiatives that will further strengthen and enhance the existing healthcare practice in the region - Partners with the Regional Institutional Market Leader and Regional Marketing Director to lead go/no-go and strategic partnering decisions on key pursuits - Provides key client relationship and contract management leadership. - Serve as Principal-in-Charge or Senior Project Manager on select healthcare and other key institutional projects - Establishes and tracks project milestones as well as quarterly business goals - Teams with the Regional Marketing Director to plan, coordinate, and participate in external visibility/promotional efforts Skills and Attributes - Must have a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering healthcare campus projects, generating new business, maintaining an existing network of industry contacts, and preparing winning proposals - Must be knowledgeable in healthcare campus planning and/or capital project engineering and execution - Must bring a strong bias for action and drive business performance focusing on sustained success. - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - External market presence and strong market visibility activity - Strong presentation skills - Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills including the ability to coach and mentor staff and successfully manage and coordinate integrated services projects - Critical thinker, must demonstrate a superior ability to facilitate collaborative problem solving with clients, partners, and key project stakeholders Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transportation planning, environmental planning, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred - Minimum of 10-15+ years of relevant experience in healthcare campus planning and/or engineering and project management - Professional license or certification is preferred - Experience managing teams and coaching staff members - Must possess strong communication and project management skills Regional Healthcare Sector Leader is a full-time position.
