ABOUT THE POSITION VHB’s New England region has an immediate need for Survey Equipment Operators to join our Geomatics/Survey team. ABOUT THE POSITION Chief Engineer | Hauppauge, NY   VHB is seeking a Chief Engineer with 15+ years of experience to serve our client and project base in the New York Region. ABOUT THE POSITION VHB's New Jersey Site Investigation & Remediation practice has a need for an Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our growing Site Investigation & Remediation practice. The professional will help develop and manage effective site investigation, remediation and due diligence investigative programs. The professional should be comfortable working in the office and field and have an understanding of and experience with the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program including NJDEP Rules and Guidance, NYSDEC a plus. ABOUT THE POSITION Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager – Watertown, MA   Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising landscape design activities. Exercises independent judgment analyzing all technical aspects of the project, defining the scope, selecting problems for investigation, developing concepts and approaches, and recommending landscape architectural design solutions.   Leads a team and is responsible for the development of aesthetically pleasing and functional site designs from concept to construction for a variety of private and public landscape architectural projects (e.g., retail, single- and multi-family residential, corporate campuses, mixed use developments, academic buildings, streetscapes, parks, plazas, public spaces).   You will be a recognized leader and authority in the field of landscape architecture.   Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Manages, plans, develops, organizes, and implements project design concepts and criteria throughout all phases of project work, from planning, design development, and construction documentation to construction administration. - You will collaborate with regional Planning and Design Service Leaders to develop and implement a strategic vision for the Landscape Design Practice. ABOUT THE POSITION VHB's Metro DC office is seeking a Transit & Rail Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity from VHB's offices in Tysons, VA, Washington DC, or Raleigh, NC.    The Transit & Rail Engineer will be part of a design team supporting a variety of railroad, rail transit, and bus transit projects.  The candidate should have an interest in the railroad and/or rail transit industries and a desire to grow in the business.  Course work and/or any expertise or experience in railroad, rail transit, or bus transit design is a plus. ABOUT THE POSITION Water Resources Project Manager | Providence, RI/Watertown, MA   VHB’s Water Resources group is growing across MA and RI, and we're looking for a Project Manager/ Senior Water Resources Engineer with strong hydraulics/hydrology experience to join its dynamic team of Water Resource Engineers and water quality specialists. In this position you will assist our clients with developing strategic, cost-effective, and forward-thinking solutions to their water resource, ecological restoration, transportation, and environmental challenges. You will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from site to watershed scale. Projects may include stormwater retrofits, bridge hydraulics and scour, stream restorations, flood mitigation and management, and coastal resiliency.
