ABOUT THE POSITION VHB is seeking a Traffic Engineer to support the National Parks Service, embedded in a client’s office in Denver, Colorado.The NPS Traffic Program operates and maintains ~150 continuous traffic count stations located in ~50 parks in 27 states.   Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 1-3 years of Experience (traffic background preferred) - Experience with traffic monitoring practices and creating/utilizing a traffic database - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required - Must be fully vaccinated based on current CDC standards - Must be a US Citizen and pass a federal background check Responsibilities - Redevelop and manage the NPS coverage count program, which will be comprised of approximately 600 short-term count stations - Draft initial contract language (e.g., scope of work, deliverables, etc) for this effort - Assist NPS Manager in the creation of monthly and annual traffic count reports for each park - Provide QA/QC support for the coverage count data - Conduct field work, scoping new count stations and/or inspecting/repairing existing count stations and creating inspection reports - Analyze traffic data in select parks for traffic patterns - Work with park units to troubleshoot and replace malfunctioning traffic count station components - Work with park units to conduct their annual inspections and review results - Drive Federal government vehicles - Travel to parks/sites – Candidate is anticipated to travel approximately 4-6 times per year - Experience in troubleshooting electronic traffic monitoring/count station equipment is a plus Hiring Salary Range -$54,900 - $82,350.  However, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.   Benefits Clause - Medical, dental & Vision plans, wellness program, health saving account, flexible spending account, 401(k) plans, life & AD&D insurance, short/long term disability plans & PTO (vacation, sick & holidays).   This position requires COVID-19 vaccination per client requirements.   WE ARE VHB! ABOUT THE POSITION VHB is seeking an experienced IT Services Specialist to join our Corporate Information Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organized individual who is deeply interested in technology as a career and possesses the ability and desire to learn on the job.   The candidate for this position will be a part of a dynamic IT Services group consisting of a dozen IT professionals across the Eastern Seaboard. This position will be based in our Raleigh, NC office as well as provide remote support to our other VHB offices. This position will also require travel to our Charlotte, NC office. The successful candidate will be an integral part of these regional offices, empowering the members of these offices with technology products and services to drive digital transformation in alignment with VHB’s generational company ideals.   This role is perfect for a service-minded individual looking to further their career in technology. The right candidate will need to have the proficiency to diagnose, research and resolve moderately complex hardware and software problems. This position will require travel between offices on a regular basis. Responsibilities - Proactively assist VHB employees with the use of technology - Configure and deploy PCs to staff - Provide hardware and software support to all staff - Identify trends in incoming helpdesk tickets and triage appropriately - Provide ad hoc training associated with new commercial or custom applications - Assist other IT staff with engaging projects Skills and Attributes - Strong customer service skills - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - Team-oriented with capability to work independently - Self-motivated - Excellent attention to detail - Organizational and planning skills - Interest in learning new technologies - Ability to prioritize and respond to inquiries in a timely and friendly manner Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology with strong PC knowledge and interest in technology - Working knowledge of computer software and hardware - Working knowledge of Windows 10 - Strong skills with Microsoft Office 365 - A valid driver's license is required - Reliable transportation is a necessity WE ARE VHB!   ABOUT THE POSITION VHB is seeking a Senior Revit Designer, to work in one of our NE offices, experienced in modeling of buildings and structures, to join its team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic organization and become a member of a growing team while working on assignments across the VHB footprint.  Responsibilities: - Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop structural drawings from conceptual phase to final design for a variety of buildings and transportation infrastructure projects. - Provide Revit modeling support to Project Planners and Managers as needed during project planning phase. - Create and manage structural models and integrate with architectural/MEP/civil models and CAD file. - Develop /update BIM standards, workflows and quality control to ensure consistency, quality and efficiency - Mentor junior Revit and CAD designers and lead the design team on model coordination and planset production. Skills and Abilities: - Effective written, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills to produce high-quality deliverables in an efficient manner. - Team oriented with strong capability to work independently. - Motivated to lead and mentor others on Revit and drawing production procedures. - Has a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices and to earn the confidence of clients, company management/colleagues, and regulators. Requirements/ Qualifications:  - Bachelor’s degree on relevant field of study. - 5+ years of experience in Revit architectural and/or structural modeling and plan production. - Must have excellent working knowledge of drafting standards. - Additional proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
