About the Position VHB is seeking an Administrative Office Manager to join our team in Orlando, FL!   The Administrative Office Manager will manage and coordinate the work of administrative staff for one or more functional areas or teams and support the office on administrative matters. About the Position VHB is seeking an entry-level Archaeologist to support our Atlanta based Environmental Services Group.    Well-qualified candidates will have experience conducting Phase I and II archaeological surveys throughout the southeastern United States. The Transit & Rail Project Engineer will be part of a design team supporting a variety of railroad, rail transit, and bus transit projects.  The candidate should have an interest in the railroad and/or rail transit industries and a desire to grow in the business.  Course work and/or any expertise or experience in railroad, rail transit, or bus transit design is a plus.   Responsibilities: - Perform civil design on a variety of rail projects including track structure and drainage, alignment geometry, grade crossings, stations, layover facilities, and maintenance of equipment (MOE) and maintenance of way (MOW) yards - Support the Project Development process including preparation of conceptual level designs and supporting documentation - Develop specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules - Prepare technical reports and analyses - Assist in the development of construction bid documents - Provide design support services during construction - Work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-discipline team environment Skills and Abilities: - Strong technical design skills - Excellent verbal and written communications skills and analytical skills - Strong capability in the use of computer applications including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) - Experience with the MicroStation CADD platform is preferred but candidates with AutoCAD experience and desire to learn MicroStation will be considered Qualifications: - BS in Civil Engineering or related field - 0 to 2 years of experience in railroad and/or rail transit and engineering design - Desire to learn railroad and rail transit design requirements including AREMA recommended practices - Basic familiarity with track, station, layover facility and general civil engineering - Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of employment  This position requires COVID-19 vaccination per client requirements.   At VHB, we’re invested in what we do, compelled by intellectual curiosity, and driven to work collectively to best serve our clients and help shape the future of our communities in a meaningful way.
