ABOUT THE POSITION Mobility Project Manager – Transportation Engineering Hybrid | New York, NY | Newark, NJ   VHB is looking a Mobility Project Manager with approximately 8 to 11 years of transportation engineering experience to join our vibrant and growing transportation consulting practice in our New York City office. We are looking for someone with a blend of technical expertise, managerial skills, and innovative thinking, who would play an important role in expanding and shaping the group.   Successful candidates will work with our Transportation, State/Local Government, Real Estate, and Institutional Market Sectors to win and execute projects in both the public and private sectors within the five boroughs of New York City. ABOUT THE POSITION Director of Transit & Rail Planning | DC/Tysons  VHB is seeking a senior transit planning professional to serve as the Director of Transit & Rail Planning for our growing Metro DC market. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team of 6 planners in the delivery of planning and design services related to bus systems, light rail transit, bus rapid transit, and intermodal connections between bus and rail modes. Typical assignments would include bus network redesign, data visualization of route/headway changes, fleet management studies, fleet electrification planning, BRT system planning and design, bus stop design reviews, long-range transit system master plans, Title VI analyses, and advising on the public transportation elements of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) assignments.
