  ABOUT THE POSITION VHB’s Bedford, NH office is looking for an emerging Environmental Scientist to join our growing Natural Sciences Team working to deliver projects for our transportation, energy, and land development clients across New England. ABOUT THE POSITION VHB’s Natural Sciences Team in Williamsburg is seeking a Contract Biologist to support our team of environmental scientists. Key responsibilities will include conducting field surveys for natural resources and assisting in the preparation of technical reports. Tasks may include wetland delineations, rare, threatened, and endangered species surveys, general floristic inventory and monitoring, stream assessments, and other natural resource inventories. Other tasks will include the preparation of field survey support and reporting documents including data forms, photo logs, memoranda and summary reports, and documentation for federal, state, and local environmental permit applications. ABOUT THE POSITION Senior Noise Specialist – Analyze noise and vibration using models such as FHWA Traffic Noise Model, FHWA Roadway Construction Noise Model, FTA/FRA Noise and Vibration Guidance modeling and FAA Aviation Environmental Design Tool. Conduct noise and vibration measurements in the field. Utilize a wide range of technical tools such as GIS, CAD, MATLAB and spreadsheets. ABOUT THE POSITION VHB’s New York, NY office is seeking a seller-doer, Environmental Scientist - Permitting Lead to join our growing team with a focus on offshore wind and other large-scale renewable energy projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team across diverse disciplines, giving you exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-11 years of professional environmental consulting experience, including conducting wetland delineations and NJDEP, NYSDEC and federal permitting. The candidate shall possess a strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple assignments simultaneously, including developing strategy through the design and permitting phases of projects. ABOUT THE POSITION We’re looking for a senior level Wetland Scientist/Technical Advisor to join our growing Natural Sciences team.
